Poetry from Brianna Dawn.

windows and marbles

sometimes i’d like to snap my fingers
sparking a fire, to melt the glass of a window –
trap all the sunrises and sunsets it has seen,
fashioning it into a hand full of marbles –
so that i may carry in my pocket
the beginning and endings of all the days
that window has seen, as it watched over
the nights during my dreams
