Tiny Fawns

Daily poetry from Brianna Dawn.

closing in

the skies closed in
bringing their blankets
closer until i could
feel the grey of the rain
across my skin,
weighing me down
the sound of the raindrops
stepping atop and around my
umbrella grew stronger
and my face grew longer
as the cold sunk into my bones
flowers slumped in on
themselves, lost and alone
