Tiny Fawns

Daily poetry from Brianna Dawn.

we float, swim in
something that nothing
carved out of the night,
that swallows deeply
all of the stars and all of the light
which fail to reach their fingertips
close enough, to grip
our eyesight
slipping into the abyss –
sinking, or taking flight
