Poetry from Brianna Dawn.

where sadness sits

i imagine it’s tangled
up in raindrops

or in steps a crow’s eyes take
when raking the land
for a diamond

it feels like a heavy air
staring deep into the water

both arguing with one another

which one is lighter or
which one is darker

in the eye of a storm
